בחירת רב לישוב

לכבוד, הוועדה לאיתור מועמדים לרב היישוב

שלום רב,

לאחר בקשה והפצרה של רבים מתושבי היישוב, אשר מכירים את הרב שמעון בוחניק, את מעלותיו כרב וכמנהיג רוחני, נענה הרב והחליט להגיש את מועמודתו במכרז לאיתור רב ליישובנו חשמונאים.

נודע לנו שוועדת האיתור לרב היישוב החליטה להעדיף מועמדים מחוץ ליישוב ובכך נמנעת מהרב האפשרות לעמוד לבחירה על ידי הציבור תושבי היישוב חשמונאים.

הרב שמעון בוחניק ידוע ומוכר מזה שנים רבות בגדלותו בתורה, בפסיקותיו המבוססות, המנומקות והמאוזנות ובשיעורי התורה בתחום ההלכה, המוסר והאמונה.

ידועה ומוכרת גם השקעתו הרבה והיעילה בכל מגזרי היישוב גברים ונשים, צעירים ונוער, כולל ציבור עולים חדשים מארה"ב. וכן ידוע ומוכר בפעולותיו הייחודיות בליווי משפחות בכל מעגלי החיים ותמיכה במשפחות ויחידים במצבי אובדן.

בנוסף, מעבר לכישוריו המוכחים כנ"ל, נציין את החיסכון הכספי הגדול והמשמעותי לקופת הציבור בשכר דירה לרב.

על כן אנו בחתימתנו מבקשים מוועדת האיתור לתת לרב שמעון בוחניק את ההזדמנות לעמוד לבחירת הציבור הכללי ביישוב, כמועמד לכהן כרב היישוב.

To the committee for finding a new Rav for the Yishuv,

After considering the requests and urging of many residents of the Yishuv, who know the virtues and spiritual leadership of Rav Buchnikwell, the Rav has complied and decided to submit his candidacy in the tender to locate a Rav for our Yishuv.

We were informed that the committee decided to give preference to candidates from outside the Yishuv, thereby denying the residents of Hashmonaim the ability to vote for their choice.

These many years, Rav Buchnik has been known and recognized for his greatness in Torah, for his well-founded and balanced rulings and for his shiurim in Torah, halacha and emuna.

The Rav is esteemed for his involvement in all sectors of the community, men and women, young and old, the youth and immigrants. He is respected for his willingness to support families and individuals throughout all situations in the circle of life, including loss.

In addition to all his expertise, we wish to point out the significant financial saving to the Yishuv by not having to pay for relocation and housing.

Therefore, we ask the committee to give Rav Buchnik the opportunity to stand for election by the population of the Yishuv, as a candidate for the future Rav.
