שמי גילה בבליק, אני בת 24, מגבעת שמואל. עליתי ממיאמי, פלורידה. כשגיליתי לא מזמן שה"באקסטריט בויז" מגיעים לארץ, אני וכל חברי התרגשנו מאוד. אני, ומלא אנשים שאני מכירה, גדלנו על השירים שלהם ועדיין שומעים את המוזיקה שלהם כיום. הם היו, ובהחלט ממשיכים להיות, חלק קריטי מהעבר ומההווה שלנו.כשגילינו שהם מופיעים ב"תשעת הימים", תקופת אבלות במסורת היהודית, שבה אנו מתאבלים על חורבן בית המקדש, התאכזבנו מאוד. בתקופה זו נהוג לא לשמוע מוזיקה ב-"לייב" (הופעות וכו'), מנהג המביע אבלות.אז בעצם כל המעריצים של הבאקסטריט בויז שאינם נוהגים ללכת להופעות בתקופה זו מסיבות דתיות, לא יוכלו לשמוע את הלהקה שאותה הם כל כך אוהבים!! אנו מודעים לכך שכבר הוסיפו הופעה שניה ושלישית בזמן שיהיו בארץ, אבל אנו מקווים שיוכלו להוסיף עוד ההופעה כך שהיא לא תצא בתשעת הימים, החל מהתאריך 7/8.

בואו נראה לבאקסטריט בויז שישנם 8,000 או יותר מעריצים שכל כך היו רוצים ללכת להופעתה של להקת הילדות שלהם, אך לצערם לא יוכלו. אולי.. ואנו מקווים מאוד שנוכל לעשות שינוי!!!                                

My name is Gila Bublick, 24 years old, from Givat Shmuel, Israel. I moved to Israel from Miami, FL. When I recently found out the Backstreet Boys are coming to Israel, I was extremely excited, as were all my friends. Myself, and many people I know grew up listening to them and still listen to them and love their music. They were and are definitely a crucial part of our past and present. When we found out they are performing during "the nine days", which is a time of mourning for the Jewish people, who during that time remember and mourn over the destruction of their holy temple, we were devastated. Traditionally, during those days religious jews do not listen to live music, as a sign of their mourning. ALL of their fans who don't listen to live music for religious reasons during that time will not be able to see them preform! We are aware they have already added a second and third performance, but were hoping they can add another show a few days later, when the nine days are through. We can listen to live music starting August 7th.

Lets show the Backstreet Boys that there are 8,000+ fans that WISH they can go see their favorite childhood band's LIVE CONCERT IN ISRAEL, but unfortunately cannot. Maybe, and HOPEFULLY, we can make a difference!!
