דרוש: רב ראשי הדוגל בסבלנות כלפי כל הזרמים בעולם היהודי:

Wanted: A Tolerant Chief Rabbi Who Respects all Streams in the Jewish World

בבחירות הקרובות לתפקיד הרב הראשי בישראל – אנו מצפים שכל המועמדים יביעו נכונות לקירוב לבבות בעולם היהודי כולו – לרבות שיתוף פעולה והכרה בכל זרמי היהדות – לרבות התנועה הרפורמית והמסורתית.  הרב הראשי לישראל חייב להיות נציג שלכל פלגי היהדות – בישראל ובעולם כולו.

אנו קוראים לכל המפלגות הפוליטיות וכל המצביעים בפועל לדרוש מכל המועמדים, כתנאי בסיסי לתפקיד הרב הראשי לישראל, מחויבות לסובלנות ושיתוף פעולה בין כל זרמי היהדות .

In the upcoming elections for Israel's Chief Rabbi we expect all candidates to express a willingness to embrace the entire Jewish world – including cooperation with all streams of Judaism, including the Reform and Conservative movements.  The Chief Rabbi of Israel must be a representative of all forms of Judaism in Israel and the world.

We call on the political parties and those voting in practice to demand, as a basic position from all candidates for the position of Israel's Chief Rabbi, a commitment to tolerance and pluralism for all streams in Judaism.
