הקצאת קרקע לקהילת יונתן

עמותת קהילת יונתן, הקהילה הרפורמית בהוד-השרון בהנהגתו של הרב מיכאל בוידן, הגישה את בקשתה להקצאת קרקע לבניית בית כנסת אל ראש עיריית הוד-השרון, מר חי אדיב, לפני למעלה משש שנים.

בעקבות כך, פורסמה הודעה בתחילת שנת 2008 מטעם עיריית הוד השרון בעיתונות המקומית ובאתר המגרש המוצע, אשר בה הודיעה העירייה על כוונתה להקצאת קרקע לקהילת יונתן בחלקה 278 בגוש 6453 שברח' הפעמונית. (לפי התוכנית לבניין ערים שטח זה מיועד להקמת בית כנסת).

בתום שנים של דיונים, בדיקות והתכתבות ענפה בין העירייה לבין עמותת קהילת יונתן עומדת הוועדה המקצועית להגיש את המלצותיה לישיבת מועצת העיר בימים הקרובים.

לצערנו, יש ניסיונות לשלול את הקצאת הקרקע המוצעת ולהציע קרקע חילופית, דבר אשר יכריח את עמותת קהילת יונתן להתחיל את כל התהליך מחדש, אשר עתיד להימשך עוד שנים רבות.

לידיעתך, מאז הקמתה בשנת 2002 שוכרת עמותת קהילת יונתן מבנים שונים לקיום פעילויותיה בתנאים קשים ומגבילים, ומייחלת להקמת משכן קבע משלה, כמו מעל 40 בתי-הכנסת האורתודוקסיים בהוד-השרון.

אם ערכי פתיחות, שוויון ופלורליזם בחיי הדת והרוח חשובים לך, נבקשך לחתום על העצומה למטה, אשר תוגש לחברי מועצת העיר לפני ישיבת המועצה, על מנת לשכנע אותם לתמוך בהקצאת הקרקע הנדונה לעמותת קהילת יונתן ללא דחייה נוספת.

More than six years ago, Kehilat Yonatan, the Reform synagogue in Hod Hasharon led by Rabbi Michael Boyden, lodged an application with Mayor Chai Adiv for the congregation to be allocated land to build a synagogue. 

As a result, at the beginning of 2008 the town of Hod Hasharon published an announcement in the local press and at the proposed site notifying the public of its intention to grant land to Kehilat Yonatan in section 278, block 6453 in Rechov Ha-Pa'amonit. In the town's building plans, this land is designated for the erection of a synagogue. 

Following years of discussions, investigations and a great deal of correspondence between the town and Kehilat Yonatan, the town's committee comprised of professional staff members is about to present its recommendations to the town council during the coming days. 

Unfortunately, there are those who are seeking to stop the land being allocated and are proposing an alternative site, which would result in the process being delayed for many years. 

Since Kehilat Yonatan was founded in 2002, the congregation has had to rent various facilities for its activities under conditions that have been both difficult and limiting, and it waiting for the day when it will be able to erect its own building like the more than 40 orthodox synagogues in Hod Hasharon. 

If values such as openness, equality and pluralism of religion and spirit are important to you, please add your name to our petition, which will be presented to the members of the town council before the council meeting, in order to seek to persuade them to support the allocation of the proposed land to Kehilat Yonatan without further delay.
