Reinstate Name Announcements at LSMU Graduation Ceremony

Dear LSMU Community,

We recently learned that the names of graduates will not be announced at this year's graduation ceremony. This tradition is crucial for honoring our years of hard work and dedication. It allows our families, many of whom travel from afar, to share in our individual achievements. Announcing our names is the minimal honor we deserve after all these years of effort and perseverance. We believe that reinstating the name announcements is essential to appropriately recognize and celebrate our accomplishments in front of our peers, faculty, and most importantly, our families. Please join us in requesting the university to uphold this important tradition.
