השכונה נגד האנטנה הסלולרית החדש!

A new cell tower has been placed on Nahal Kishon, directly adjacent to Ayalon Park and very close to many residential homes, an elementary school and yeshivas, as well as other residential businesses. Research for the possible effects of these towers, including the radiofrequency radiation that they give off, has not been adequately studied. The research that has been done however, does not appear safe and is concerning. Some studies, including one done by the National Toxicology Program (NTP) confirmed that RF-EMF radiation is likely carcinogenic to humans!

Dr. Yael Stein of Hebrew University wrote, after lots of meticulous research in this field, in her letter to the FCC, "Besides higher risk of cancer, exposure to electromagnetic radiation in the radio/ microwave frequencies has been reported to affect: fertility in males and females, neurological effects on sleep quality, learning abilities and memory due to increased oxidative stress, to cause skin and gastrointestinal reactions, hypersensitivity phenomena (Electrohypersensitivity / EHS), and more." 

This tower may be a possible health risk, and we the people of Ramat Beit Shemesh are NOT willing to take the risk! 

To Mayor Greenberg & all responsible parties:

We request that the tower be moved to a more rural and less populated area, certainly away from private homes, children's parks or schools! While the research is being done and the risks are still hidden - WE ARE NOT WILLING TO RISK OUR CHILDREN IN THE ITERIM.
