לכבוד הנהלות המוסדות המרכזיים, הגבאים וכל העוסקים בבניין ובהרחבת בית חיינו, שלום וברכה!

אנו החתומים מטה, מאנ״ש חסידי חב״ד, השלוחים ותלמידי התמימים, פונים בזה אליכם מעומק הלב ובתחינה נרגשת: לנצל את ההזדמנות ההיסטורית הניצבת עתה לפנינו, עם בניית בית המדרש החדש בסמוך לבית חיינו, ולעשות כל התלוי בכם כדי שהשטח הנבנה יצטרף לזאל הגדול ויהיה להרחבה ממשית של בית הכנסת ובית המדרש — 770.

בית חיינו, בית רבינו שבבבל, הוא הבית אשר אליו נשואות עיניהם ולבותיהם של חסידים בכל קצווי תבל; מקום של תורה, תפילה והתוועדות, וממנו אורה יוצאת לעולם כולו. כל הבא בשעריו, ובייחוד בימי החגים ובמועדי הכינוסים, חש בצורך הגדול בתוספת מקום וברווחה לציבור הלומדים והמתפללים.

ידועים דברי כ״ק אדמו״ר נשיא דורנו בקונטרס ״בית רבינו שבבבל״, שיצא לאור בכ׳ מרחשון תשנ״ב, סעיף ח׳: ״ונעשה צורך והכרח להגדיל ולהרחיב עוד יותר את ׳בית רבינו׳״. דברים אלו מעוררים בלב כל חסיד רצון עמוק לזכות ולראות בהבאת הדבר לידי פועל.

בראש ובראשונה, הננו מביעים את תודתנו והערכתנו לכל העוסקים והמסייעים בבניית בית המדרש החדש, בגופם ובממונם. המאמץ וההשקעה למען רווחת הציבור יקרים לכולנו. דווקא בשעה זו, כאשר המלאכה מתקדמת, אנו מבקשים לצרף אליה את השאיפה המשותפת של כה רבים מאנ״ש: חיבור רחב של השטח החדש לזאל הקיים, באופן שיוסיף בפועל מקום לתפילה, ללימוד ולהתוועדויות כחלק מבית חיינו.

על כן בקשתנו שטוחה לפניכם: להתכנס יחד, מתוך אהבת אחים ואחדות הלבבות, ולגבש עם אנשי המקצוע את הדרך הראויה והאפשרית לחיבור החללים ולהרחבה של ממש, בתיאום בין כל הנוגעים בדבר ובהתאם לאישורים הנדרשים. נבקש לתת לכך מקום כבר בשלב הבנייה הנוכחי, ולפעול ככל האפשר למימוש ההרחבה בהקדם.

ויהי רצון שתשרה ברכה והצלחה במעשי ידיכם, ונזכה שתהא פעולה זו הפעולה המכרעת להבאת הגאולה האמיתית והשלמה, בביאת משיח צדקנו ובבניין בית המקדש השלישי, תיכף ומיד ממש.

Seize This Historic Opportunity to Expand Beis Chayeinu — 770

To the leadership of the central Chabad institutions, the gabbaim, and all those involved in the construction and expansion of Beis Chayeinu, Shalom u’vrachah!

We, the undersigned members of Anash, shluchim, and talmidim of Tomchei Temimim, turn to you with a heartfelt and earnest appeal: seize the historic opportunity now before us, with the construction of the new beis medrash adjacent to Beis Chayeinu, and do everything within your power to join the new space to the main shul, creating a substantial expansion of the beis haknesses and beis medrash at 770.

Beis Chayeinu, Beis Rabbeinu Shebebavel, is the home toward which chassidim throughout the world turn their eyes and hearts: a place of Torah, tefillah, and farbrengens, from which light radiates to the entire world. Everyone who enters its doors, particularly during Yomim Tovim and major gatherings, feels the great need for additional space for those who come to learn and daven.

The Rebbe’s words in Kuntres Beis Rabbeinu Shebebavel, published on 20 MarCheshvan 5752, section 8, are well known: “It has become necessary and imperative to further enlarge and expand ‘Beis Rabbeinu’” (translated from the Hebrew). These words awaken in the heart of every chossid a deep desire to merit seeing this brought to fruition.

First and foremost, we express our gratitude and appreciation to everyone contributing their efforts and financial support to the construction of the new beis medrash. We all value the work and investment being made for the benefit of the community. Precisely now, as construction moves forward, we ask that this work also embrace the aspiration shared by so many members of Anash: a broad connection between the new space and the existing main shul, providing additional room for tefillah, learning, and farbrengens as an integral part of Beis Chayeinu.

We therefore respectfully appeal to you to come together in a spirit of brotherly love and unity, and work with qualified professionals to develop a suitable and feasible plan to connect the spaces and achieve a substantial expansion, in coordination with all parties concerned and subject to the necessary approvals. We ask that this be addressed during the current stage of construction, and that every possible effort be made to bring the expansion to fruition promptly.

May Hashem grant blessing and success to your efforts, and may we merit that this be the decisive act that brings the true and complete Geulah, with the coming of Moshiach Tzidkeinu and the building of the Third Beis Hamikdash, immediately.
