"Mustang ‘Ohana, This evening, September 15th, MHHS received an anonymous report in regards to a potential threat being made on our campus. After working with the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Deputies, the Deputy and school believes the report to be unsubstantiated, but calls for a cautionary approach with our school’s safety. Tomorrow morning, the high school will have increased security presence on campus, additional Sheriff's Deputies helping to patrol, and all faculty and staff are on alert. In every circumstance, students who make comments even in a joking manner, when tied to school safety, must be taken seriously. We also encourage individuals who hear about safety issues or concerns to report it immediately to an adult on campus, to our anonymous reporting feature found on our school website’s homepage, or by calling the school at 209.836.7460. If you see something or hear something suspicious, say something. As always, the safety of our students is of the utmost concern to us. Together we can continue to make our school a safe place for our ‘Ohana to learn.
