To The President of the United States, Mr. Donald J. Trump,

We, a group of students studying technological and engineering disciplines, respectfully submit a modest and humane request.

At this time, we are in the midst of critical academic examinations, including exams in algorithms, which have a direct and significant impact on our academic and professional futures. Heightened tensions and extraordinary events on the international stage also affect students, impacting our ability to concentrate and maintain the calm required to fulfill essential academic obligations.

In light of this, we respectfully ask you to consider a short postponement of military actions until after this coming Thursday evening. Such a brief delay could allow us to complete important academic commitments under more stable and reasonable conditions.

We believe in prudence, responsibility, and consideration for the broader effects of major policy decisions on civilians and students around the world.

אנו, קבוצת סטודנטים הלומדים מקצועות טכנולוגיים והנדסאיים, פונים אליך בבקשה אנושית ומכבדת.

בימים אלו אנו מצויים בעיצומם של מבחנים אקדמיים מכריעים, ובפרט מבחנים בתחום האלגוריתמים, אשר להם השפעה ישירה ומשמעותית על עתידנו הלימודי והמקצועי. מתחים ואירועים חריגים בזירה הבינלאומית משפיעים גם על סטודנטים צעירים, ופוגעים ביכולת הריכוז והשקט הנפשי הנדרשים להשלמת חובות אקדמיות.

לאור זאת, אנו מבקשים בכבוד לשקול דחייה קצרה של צעדים צבאיים עד לאחר יום חמישי הקרוב בערב. דחייה קצרה זו עשויה לאפשר לנו להשלים התחייבויות לימודיות חשובות בתנאים סבירים ורגועים יותר.

אנו מאמינים בשיקול דעת, באחריות ובהתחשבות בהשלכות הרחבות של החלטות מדיניות על אזרחים וסטודנטים ברחבי העולם.
